TURNING PASSIVE VIEWERSHIP INTO ACTIVE PARTICIPATION.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Developed as an experiential extension of the Disney+ brand ecosystem, the activation translated streaming culture into a physical, story-driven environment designed to immerse audiences within the platform’s expansive entertainment universe.

OUTCOME

The result was a highly immersive brand experience that extended Disney+ beyond the screen—transforming passive viewership into active participation. The activation reinforced Disney+’s positioning as both a content platform and cultural entertainment destination while driving audience engagement through emotionally memorable, shareable interactions.

CREATIVE DIRECTION & STRATEGY

The challenge centered on transforming a digital-first platform into a tangible, emotionally resonant experience without losing the scale and diversity of the Disney+ content library. The concept approached the platform not as a singular brand, but as a collection of worlds—each with its own emotional tone, visual language, and audience connection point.
 

Spatial storytelling became the core design driver, with interactive sets and layered media integrations guiding guests through a curated journey inspired by the anticipation and escapism of streaming culture. The environment was intentionally designed to balance nostalgia, discovery, and spectacle while creating moments optimized for social capture and audience participation.

LEADERSHIP & EXECUTION

From a systems perspective, the project required orchestrating multiple franchise identities within a cohesive experiential framework. Design development focused on modular scenic integration, adaptive media moments, audience circulation, and visual hierarchy—ensuring the experience felt immersive without becoming visually fragmented.

Cross-functional collaboration between creative, production, technical, and brand teams was essential in translating entertainment IP into a scalable physical environment that maintained both operational efficiency and narrative cohesion.

The Bundleworks factory resulted as a quirky, larger-than-life experience set in the "power plant" of Bundletown where the streaming bundle was transformed into an interactive story introducing fans to the Disney Bundle while celebrating all Disney's IPs.
